He has lived in the province of Granada, admiring the Alhambra palace and its arabesques. He has also lived in Mexico in four different cities, getting to know Mexican art. Most recently, he has lived on the coast of Cantabria, enjoying the smell of the sea and the waves. Now he has decided to calm down and focus on his family, but art is still a part of him. "Why did Terry Laakso end a successful artist career like a wall in 2018, even if he could have continued anyway? After my heart surgery in 2007, my cardiologist reminded me four times to try to live a stress-free and calm life so that my heart could keep up. I also learned to know the eternal question of many people: 'Why does man live on the beautiful earth for only a short life? Why is there disease and evil on earth, and what happens after death?' When I understood and became convinced of these things, I realized that all this is temporary. This stage of the world changes, that is, it ends, and a new one takes its place. That's how I understood why it's not good to build and waste time in a temporary world state to build a life, because a new one will replace it very soon. I decided to live this temporary short time calmly and modestly, helping other people to understand the purpose of life".
